It is worth noting as well that in a lot of cases, it is usually the man that has the power over the woman for whatever reason, and I like this change of pace. won’t be able to return to normal, and that is a kind of power that is worth mentioning in this novel. She is the one that made him invisible, and she is the one that can make him visible again. since she is the one in charge of the experiment. ![]() In this case, Rosy had more power than J.T. and Rosy was interesting since there was clearly a power dynamic at hand here. And the attraction between them was one that was enjoyable to read throughout the entire novel. There also seems to be some sort of attraction between them when touching happens. that is invisible and is a science experiment, trying to impress his scientist Rosy Peabody, especially since she would need to figure out how to make him visible again. Like… he is actually invisible to the human eye and I don’t know how that happened – well I do, but I’m not telling you – and that just does not sound like a good thing right now. is unfortunately not being dramatic when he’s saying that he’s invisible because he is legitimately a science experiment. ![]() In this case though, and surprisingly enough, J.T. When a guy talks about being invisible, I mostly think he’s being dramatic. ever materializes, will our sizzling chemistry disappear or spark a little flame? a moment of my time if not for the fact that I’m partially responsible for his condition and quite possibly the only person capable of reversing it. I keep telling myself that they’re only the after-effects of his electrified state, but lately, just the thought of him provokes the same reaction in me. Rosy Peabody: It’s not easy to ignore my tingling nerve-endings whenever J.T. So maybe I shouldn’t be in such a hurry to have my image restored. At least as her science experiment, I have her undivided attention & unlimited opportunities to try to win her affection or to at least make her blush that pretty shade of pink that tells me I’ve sparked her temper. But if I weren’t invisible, prim and proper Rosy Peabody would probably have even less of an interest in me. Drake: It’s not easy to seduce a woman who can’t see me. The power dynamic between JT and Rosy was intriguing and entertaining to read. ![]()
